Jim is a farmer/entrepreneur with an interest in food security and urban agriculture. He first discovered Roots to Harvest while working on the planning process for his business, Eat Local: Pizza and Pastry. Jim has always admired Roots to Harvest’s work and is excited to serve on the board. He believes that Roots to Harvest represents a potential for evolution in Thunder Bay, a guided next step that links practical life skills to youth while promoting dialogue and facilitating change. His background in business, food security infrastructure and experience serving on other boards helps him see just how vital Roots to Harvest is to our city. He also really likes piano music.
