Maureen has a love of the arts and the outdoors. For over 10 years she worked in Toronto at the Toronto International Film Festival and Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival where she managed social events and promoted the art of film making. She decided to move back home to be closer to family, to the outdoors and to a garden. Maureen and her young family enjoy spending time outdoors, walking, biking, gardening and swimming. Maureen is currently employed at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation where she manages an event team who raise funds for the Health Sciences Centre through event fundraising. Maureen is passionate about healthy and vibrant communities and is thrilled to be on the Board of Roots to Harvest to assist in creating a future where youth are leaders and our community is cultivating food that is local, healthy and accessible.
