Sanjana Tarranum - Program Facilitator
Sanjana comes to Roots to Harvest from southwestern Ontario, bringing with her the environment- and community-focused culture that she was immersed in at the University of Guelph. While completing her undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, she began to enjoy working with children and teens, talking about environmental stewardship and individual responsibility. She harbors a passion for community and social development, something she gathered an interest in while growing up in Bangladesh. Sanjana has observed first-hand the huge impact non-profit organizations can make through skill-development programs, and she is very excited to be a part of the participant-focused approach at R2H. Above all, she is thrilled to have found a tight-knit, welcoming, and supportive community in Thunder Bay, and can’t wait to start building meaningful relationships all around!
