Tyler Waboose - Cooking Skills Facilitator
While a student a Kiikenomaga Kikenjigewen (KKETS), Tyler was introduced to Roots to Harvest. Learning, and Cooking, he eagerly partook in the R2H lunch program. Finishing at KKETS coincided with joining R2H. In May 2016, he was hired as a Seasonal Horticultural Outdoor Worker. Tyler, a part of the Volunteer Pool Crew, absorbed a summers worth of agricultural experience: keeping bees, tending to crops, and growing community.
During Harvest, he was given the opportunity to cook with Roots to Harvest. With a bit of prior culinary training, he finds himself on the other end of the spectrum; inviting community through food.
